Are you serious?  There was a guy there in what looked like a tiny yellow banana-style sevylor inflatable kakak/canoe(that looked like it wasn't fully inflated)...  if anyone needed a new kayak, it was him  :smt002

Nice to see everyone & get out on the water.  It was a fun time even with the lack of quality fish.  I was so exhausted by the end of the day.  The sun really took its toll...  the last bluegill session resulted in Mooch & I looking for shade more than the fish   :smt011  Luckily the bluegill seemed to appreciate the shade as much as we did.  :smt005

Mol, congrats on the fish & the win - always good when a plan comes together in the end.   :smt004

Mooch Thanks for the picture.  Thanks to everyone involved with the tournament.  Eddie and I had a great time.  Chris great job winning, for about 10 minuets Eddie and I thought we had it wrapped up, but you definitely deserved it after the skill and work you put into it.  I have to agree with Allen though, you on the radio was one of the highlights of the day.  For a lot of years I thought talking smack was bad juju, but after your success I may start doing it all the time.

If the 390 lbs of my my 34 yr old son and I had been in the same kayak, even the largest, out there, I'll bet there would have been a photo of that too.  And we probably would have wound up in the same location as a certain untethered rod.               Come too think of it, with all the snags we got, we should have "won" that with one of them.  We had a nice day together, and we didn't have to worry about cleaning the steak we had for dinner.  Some of the best moments of the day were those  watching the patience the dads had with the little ones.

Alex - I did see your bro on a yellow inflatable rubber kayak - in fact, I passed by him at one point and asked him how he was doing...he was not very chatty....unlike you =  :smt091 blah blah blah blah blah.....blah....blah...................................blah :smt003

Glad you all like the pics  :smt023 I just think ALL fishing reports must contain at least one photo - even if there's no fish involved  :smt002

When were you last in SC?

I'll bet the SC hippies over the Berkeley hippies any day.
