I just read "Adrift," by Steve Callahan, a story of 76 days lost at sea. Great book, and it puts into perspective any difficulties we face in our day-long, luxury-laden paddles.
I highly recommend it!

Great read, lots of heartbreak, but takes self-preservation to a new level.
