I use the swellinfo phone app to get my swell forecasts for diving areas. Monterey is showing 10-15' swell during the few days after Xmas I want to go diving. I believe swellinfo is really only giving me the report for the greater Monterey bay area. I would really like to spend a couple days diving Stillwater. I know Stillwater has a lot of protection from the northwest swell, is it still divable with decent visibility when the swell is crashing everywhere else? Anyone down there have the low down on Stillwater viz and water conditions?

The surf has been very consistent and will make for hazy conditions in the cove.

The runoff from the resort is very dirty.

I would give it some time.

I am sure the water will be murky from the run off after all the rain storm we had.
