I didn't notice before but it seems to me my ruder lock is on the wrong side, it's on the left side and once pulled locks the rudder in the up position and on the other side there is no rudder down cleat.
Is this a mess up by the factory or is it supposed to be that way?

Pm sent. I'm thinking the reason for no down lock is in case you hit something?

It's the cam cleat where the "down" line exits the hull.  Just pull back and down and it is locked.

After James and I both looked at ours the down has a cam cleat and the up has a jam cleat (at the bottom of the mesh pocket on the port side).  Just an FYI for everyone else.  For those of us who just got our ai's, this is all still new, cool finds!

After you take it out and use it, you will figure it out.  Its a really simple set up.

Inland would be my only thought right now.  Thinking mid-January chill at the forebay for its maiden voyage
