If you are into diving, the Art Pinder King Of Sling was a good read, written by Sherry Daye.

I have the Art Pinder Book and  the Manuel of Free Diving if any one is interested in a swap. I would like to get the Manual of Free Diving back though.

Edward Abby - Desert Solitare.
Scavengers Guide - Steve Rinella,

Not quite the same catagory but a lot of the John Krakauer (sp) books can be good "outdoors" related reads.

Men to match my mountains. By Irving stone. A great book on the foundation of the west. Not a outdoor read but a good adventure story. Dry on occasion but great history and I liked it.

I have dozens more but we are in the middle of moving and they are all packed up. Will add them later. If someone is interested I am happy to pass them on as soon as I dig them out of the boxes...

Makes we want to go pickup a book now...

If you paddle the Coast then recommend reading "The Devil's Teeth" by Susan Casey  :smt003

Krakauer - Into Thin Air

Just finished 3 of Michener's books - Centennial, Alaska, Chesapeake.  If you like historical fiction, gives a great feel for the regions.

Almost forgot, If you like hunting and have any idea on  Africa, then any book by Peter Capstick. Of course a couple of the most well known: Death on the Dark Continent & Death in the Long Grass. I have them both, but would also like them back

SH 21-76 The Ranger handbook, full of good useful outdoor info
the Wild Bears by George Laycock (bought it many years ago)

Anything from the late Ed Zern used to write for outdoor magazines (Field and Stream maybe?)
Kevin Storm

Stealth Fisha 555 aka the "Triple Nickel"
Hobie Mirage 1st Gen (Great for knee replacement therapy)
Hobie Quest (Gone)
Necky Kyook (I wished I had kept it)

Hero's on the Water
Veteran 36th Infantry Division "The Fighting Texans"
