Ok I have been in a bit of a slump after losing a big Dino in the Derby, an anchor setup on the king tide Thursday (retrieved on the early AM slack Friday) and spending HOURS last week without so much much as a bite.
The wife had plans for me Sunday BUT there was a window of about 2 hours so I grabbed her little Pescadore 12, some Ghost Shrimp and hustled over to China Camp for a quick hour of fishing. I hooked this fella about the middle of the high. Not legal but fun to catch something......

Awesome! Glad someone got out there!
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

Nice! Thanks for the report.

A shorty beats a skunk any day. Especially on a quickie trip like that. Good stuff.
