I am going to go to the rock wall in the morning. don't have a lot of time but I need to get out on the water. I am going to try to make some bait but if that does not work, where is a good place to buy some?

I'm planning on making bait at MLK at about 5:00 AM and will be at the ARW about an hour afterwards.  I'll try to net as much as I can...first time making bait with a new cast net.  I have to leave early so I hope to see you there.  Ben, I know YOU want some of my bait, what are we 2 for 2 so far?

I found it on the map. I will load up my gear tonight and try to hook up with you there in the morning. If not, then I will see you on the water. I drive an orange prowler.

I'll be parked at the end of Pardee (white Toyota truck) while I'm making bait.  Park there and follow the trail to the right and I'll be on one of the bridges chasing bait.

A few of us paddled/drifted out to the end of the rockwall just before it opened up into the bay.  That's where Eugene (Paddlefish) hooked up to his monster hali 2 weeks ago.  It depends on the wind/tide and how much time you have.  There were 2 party boats out there at the time if that's any indication of the popularity of that area.

If its windy then we stay close to the shore to the left of the launch and loop around through Balena Bay.

I'll be in a sand colored Tarpon 160 (Sandman) so check with me if you need some bait.  I'll be on channel 69 as well.

Nate,

Hope to see you there.  I'm going to make bait at MLK again.  Hopefully I wake up at a decent time.
