We have the possibility of getting a 2.5 day kayak fishing mothership charter on the Islander (http://www.islander-charters.com/index.shtml) in 2013.  Likely a May/June affair out to San Clemente or Catalina.  That's more of a WSB/Calico/Butt time of year with the possibility of Yellowtail.  The Islander takes 22 people for these trips.  Any interest?

I am definitely interested.

That would be easier to swing than an Alaska or Mexico trip.

Possibly ... depending on cost.

Possibly ... depending on cost.

The cost in 2012 was $495 for 2.5 day mothership kayak fishing trips.  Will know more about the 2013 costs shortly.

I assume there'd be a lot more fishing time if the boat were to go to Catalina?

On the other hand, I think the calico fishing (and the food) we had on the first NCKA Islander trip is worth the trip price.

PS - I'm also down for the GWS cage diving if anyone ever wanted to put that trip together.

I think the boat will go to wherever we'll have the best experience.
