My younger brother hooked me up with his friend and we went out to Freeport fishing for Redfish.  Pedaled about 5 miles to his honey hole and we had a good time catching lots of fish.  At one point I caught 7 Redfish before finished my sandwich  :smt005 My first experience catching Redfish from kayak and I love it!  Will definitely try this again next time I'm going back there.  Here are some pictures of the trip...

That looks awesome Sonny!!!  :smt007  I would love to GoPro the flounder hunting, was probably a hell of a lot of fun!!!  Like when we were wading around for crab at midnight at Doran  :smt044

My friend did that while looking for Flounder too.  We wrapped the Flounders in aluminum foil and BBQed them, they came out "perfect"  :smt007

Glad to see you were able to kayakfish while visiting your brother Sonny. BTW, the flounder you gave me from your last visit was delicious.

I packed 50 lbs of Redfish, Flounder, and Sheephead in vacuum sealed bags and put them in the Styrofoam container to the air port this morning but they've changed the rule and not allowing me to ship!

Sonny,

Your killing me with these Texas reports.  I miss the Gulf Coast fishing!!!!  Any spec trout or tripple tail?  Gigging for flounder is THE MOST FUN you can have around there second only to scallop season!

Damn Sonny!  Looks like you had a very productive trip.  Too bad you couldn't ship the fish back, but catching them is far more fun then eating them.
