When leaving the website they throw out another 15% discount code.  I couldn't test to see if it actually took it off sale prices on the drysuits.  You have to submit creditcard info to get to final pay screen.  The code is "chat15".  Be cool if another 15% off.
I tried that when I bought my tempest pants from them. They won't stack the 15% on clearance items.

Just returned a XXL Super Nova angler for being too large. I am 6'4 235 and was SWIMMING in the thing. Am awaiting Clavey shipping replacement XL. Will definitely require trimming of the cuffs and getting used to the neck. Will be that hideous Star Dork "Mango" but if it's any consolation yellow spots nicely from the rescue helo.

This is the next generation material called Hydrus.  Suppose to be in stock in Jan 2013.  I personally won't wear Star Trek yellow  :smt001  Pat R. does  :smt044

Mel I think star trek yellow is required for those that have been promoted to pilot an AI....it's mandatory

That's funny. I don't why you guys don't like the yellow. For the record, the Star Trek uniforms came in 3 colors, yellow, blue and red. The good looking next gen shrink wore purple. I have used the angler suit in blue for 2 years and love it. For what we do, a semi dry suit works fine as long as you have proper clothing underneath. I was fishing with Etienne last year and got waked by a PB at the Moss landing jaws and went for a swim. Climbed back in and paddled to the Pajaro, fished for 5 hours and paddled back. When I took the suit off, i had about a cup or water in the feet and my clothes were damp. I never felt cold the whole day like I do in a wet suit after going for a swim. So here are some tips:
1. Under your suit wear 2 layers minimum: a wicking layer and an insulating layer and nothing made of cotten.
2. Make sure both zippers are completely closed.
3. Treat the zippers and cuffs periodically.

Capt Kirk is my favorite character. Thats why I relate the color yellow to the series.
Yellow just looks funny to me.  :smt002

Dive shops have a wax product that looks kind of like a big chapstick.  I'm not sure what it's actually made of but it's designed specifically for wetsuit and drysuit zippers.

McNett zip tech is some of the best stuff around. Both Headwaters locations carry it as we'll as most dive shops. :smt001
