We've got several anglers on this board that have starting using our products.
I've gotten a few reports back so far and they have been great.

We are always open to feedback and new ideas.
I've been working with one of the board members this fall and we plan on being involved in NCKA events come spring time. (Custom colors, sizes, paddle tails and jig heads)

Unfortunately, we came on this board at the end of the ocean season and we just came out with a new line of apparel. Just thought I'd share and remind you that members get a 10% discount as well.

I sincerely hope we can have an action packed 2013 season full of fish, west coast techniques and instructional video.

 To get more involved with NCKA try sponsoring an event..DO you make swim baits? If so put some in the hands of anglers by doing mentioned above.If you want real reports and real support here on NCKA you need to put your product in our hands first!Most of us won't buy a product that we've only seen on a youtube video.A good start would be to contact rockfish on this forum and sponsor his event at the port of sac on the 9th.Donate some product and if its good reports and your sales will grow.prize bags or free product to x amount of the first anglers signed up.
Just somthing more than promo vids and classified ads.

I think Ross has contributed quite a bit to NCKA by offering his products to us for a discount. His products have been tested in the NorCal salt by NCKA members and they work.

How often do any of our sponsors take the time to post here?

I've been turned  on to Hogy products from a couple of NCKA members and the two times I've been in the salt , I caught my limits.   I just received my order Monday just in time for post turkey fishing.    I'm very happy with what Hogy has to offer. They make a very durable product.  Thanks for coming aboard on NCKA.

I guess I have to admit that NCKA is my utopia.   I have a pollyanna view of this board.  I saw the post and did not recognize the handle of the poster.  After that I looked at the member and saw 12 posts, of which, all or most were related (in the subject anyway) to selling their product.

Ross,  glad to meet you and I look forward to your contributions in the future.   

We have covered the role of vendors and sponsors, and shameless plugs at possibly inopportune times in other threads.   In my opinion just posting your items for sale at a discount is not enough.   Guys have worked hard to get sponsorships at events that in turn generate funds for very worthy causes.  I am proud of my participation at these events.   Helping BigJim raise money to fight cancer or generating funds to help Mooch at PIF are examples of how NCKA members have stood up to help others.   Many on this board GIVE first and I find that moving.   The generosity I see here is unique and special. 

I hope you don't find my post insulting or off putting but rather an invitation to participate in a community of truly good people that will enrich your life.   I hope that you will make the effort in the future to promote your fine products at our events in the form of sponsorship.

I must admit I always cringe when I see these sorts of exchanges unfold.  But this one went just how they should.  It really shows that Morgon and Ross have been around the block a few times.  I see a win-win relationship developing.  Thanks for dropping by Ross and I look forward to seeing more of Hogy® around here.
