got a gal pal wanted to get herself a kayak... Her main goal is just something to get out in along with the dogs... so deckspace is probably the most important thing.  Two dogs... one lab and one little mutt.  Not really for fishing.  What kayak would be a good choice?

She should be able to find a nice tandem for that use.  Might be a bit of a "dog" to paddle but will have the deck space w/o breaking the budget.

This is a great option for people with dogs. the seats are able to be positioned for a single paddler.

What a GREAT looking Tandem!  Thanks for sharing the info.  What does that one run?

I will double check tomorrow and get back to you on that. Maybe Dan will chime in.

One thing to think about is weight distribution. If she is a buck-0-five, no problem. But my mama, bless her heart, is a big-'ol-gal. She likes to fish, not sure where I was going with that. Oh, big dogs, little gals, a tandem is perfect. She just wont set speed records with one though, but sounds like she isn't looking to compete at the Pay it Forward speed race.
Live your life, the way you want to be remembered. Don't have any regrets, we only get this one dance to make it count. Start at your eulogy, and work backwards.
