The super glue works,And it  takes less brown liquor then stitching yourself up!         I Had to sew two years ago while skinning a deer!

Damn.... After watching that video, I'm not sure who was more brave.... BigJim or poor Tiny. :smt044

It's funny how we went from the topic of repairing plastic to repairing flesh, but anyways ..... here's the superglue repair job I did on my own thumb last year.  On a hog hunting trip at Lake Sonoma, I nearly cut the tip off my thumb while cutting a antelope pepperoni stick with a razor sharp knife.  Thankfully, Stu(potato river) had some superglue in his backpack.  It saved my thumb and allowed me to hunt and paddle around the lake that weekend.  I saw my doctor a few weeks later, and he was impressed with the way my thumb had healed with almost no scarring.

Did the same thing op my left hand pointer finger in the hills high above LDP.  Took the top 3/8" of my finger tip all but clean off.  Pinched it back together & kept to fishing for the rest of the weekend.  Still a little tingly to this day.

Yup.  Mine too.  It's actually more sensitive than my good thumb.  Weird, but cool. :smt003

Been using superglue in kitchens for years to seal knife wounds, that and surgical tape are absolute musts in all kits, Cameron
