Wash your kayak?!  We don't need no stinkin' washin'!  my PA still has pine tree pollen stuck on it from this summer.  Can't remember the last time I washed the PA, I used to think washing it would take away the mojo.............guess that does not matter because I got a skunk at the Amador fall guy meet.   :smt005

I've only ever sprayed them down with the hose.

I've never left the seat on though!   :smt044

Soap, Guys?  Really?!   :smt005

+1, that is all I have ever done, but I do rinse off asap.

I think the blood and scales and funk are good luck.

 :smt003

Sincerely,

Jim

Yep, dont be a wimp, the smell is good for you :)
I think I washed my kayak sometime in 2009, but it was an accident I'm sure.

+1 simple green or a citrus based cleaner I've found at the janitorial supply places.  It takes everything off everything.  I have no mojo to loose yet so I can use a cleaner!

We'll see if the "Mojo" was washed off the next time I go out on the water.... :smt009

Rinsing the gear is like a ritual for me.  Good old tannin colored mountain water works like a charm :smt003
