Hello Everyone,

I hope you are having a pleasant weekend. And, I hope it is sunny where you are. We have been socked in with clouds and fog for the last couple days. The weather guessers are actually saying the R word again. :smt013

I thought that for a change, I would try to do some more advanced planning instead of trying to throw something together in a few weeks. So, I am going to start ringing the bells about the Labor day weekend. Labor Day is on Monday, September 4. I am going to take the preceding Thursday and Friday off from work. I will probably be headed up to the property late Wednesday night.

You are all invited to come up, hang out, pitch in and whatever you like. This far out, I am not sure what I will be working on that weekend. If the stars align correctly and I find that lucky clover, by then, the project will have been accepted into the PLM program. If so, one of the main priorities of the weekend will be to put up PLM-No Trespassing signs all around the property. That would be a great reason for all of the horse owners to bring up a couple rides so that we can travel the whole fence line on horseback. I have tried walking it a couple times and have never completely made it around.

By that time, I will probably also be working on the Aspen grove. Clearing out the Junipers and dead-fall.

As always, there are lots of things to keep hands busy.

And as any previous attendees can attest to, there will be too much food and beverages to go around. :occasion14:

So, please look at your calendars and see if you can squeeze a few days in.

Also, by that time, my 501 non-profit status should be in place and you will be able to write the expenses and time off of your taxes. WooooHooooo!. :smt026

I will send out reminders FREQUENTLY...lol.  Let me know if you will be able to attend so that I can make plans.

I will also be up there two weekends a month during most months. I will always accept a little assistance.
