I saw the hookup about Baker Beach (which is on the SF side of GGB) and that looks like a blast.  Love the all inclusive nature of it as well - inviting all the other beach goers over to partake!  However, I like the idea of the harbor launch and close parking at Ft. Baker/Horseshoe Cove on the Marin side of the bridge.  Tides are PERFECT for this, i.e. very small.  If you can get crab at Baker beach they should be on the sand at Kirby and Bonita Coves as well, right?  Anyone up for this Saturday morning?  Who knows what else you can catch out there in between checking your traps?  I only have one hoop net and a crab snare, so this is an exploratory mission for me.
