Thanks for your patience everyone.

I updated the first page with registration, start time, check-in and gear information.  I'm also putting the roll call there :)

Cherie, come to the striper seminar on December 5 at Headwaters and we'll tell you all about what we use to catch stripers :)

Jim

Thanks, Jim! I will be there on the 5th!  :smt006
I will be there on the 9th as well (rol call # 23), and I am going to bring my son along - he will love it!

Went out to the Port on Wed. for 2 hrs. and scratched up this lunker! :smt044
He hit a purple (i hear that's the hot color :smt002) clouser, one i tied myself.
Pretty new to the tying game, but stoked that a 12" shortie ate it.
Maybe I could pick up some pointers from the pro fly guys - hint - ScottV :smt001

For me it's not about the size of the fish, it is more the fact you caught one. Any time you want to get together and tie some flies or get some pointers let me know. I am always willing to pass along what I have been taught.

Cool, Scott!
Hope to see you at the Port event.
It would be good to see what what your tying.
I've seen your posts on the Keine's boards for awhile.
I've fished with Hatch and Malbers a few times, if you're familiar with those guys.
Thanks!

Paddled from 9PM to 7AM last night.  Only had one worthy of talking about.  Matt caught a couple too.

Yeah guys fishing in this upcoming tourney, get there, shoot WAY DOWN, past the last docks on the right around the corner.

We were marking fish in 20 feet of water along the drop of the channel. All strikes were trolling 4 inch swim baits. Scent thread fin shad.
Color was pearl. Which was bizarre since it was pitch black. Anywhere there were lights on the water there were baitfish with stripers.

South bank and west banks were most productive

Haha. Hell no.
1-1.5 with the swim baits.

Your is do need faster rips.

We were OTW for 12 hrs. Can't keep up that speed.

I don't think I can paddle 5 Mph for 10 yards, much less for the 11-12 miles we put in last night.  It's a very slow troll.
