ha-  better question is:  Have I ever caught a sturgeon near McNear's?  And the answer is "NO"
I'm pretty well-practiced in the art of being cold wet hungry tired and bored near McNear's though........Maybe this time will be different.

 Not really Andy. Samuel P Taylor park is probably the closet spot to camp. Thats about 15 miles away.

If some of you want to camp out, we will allow overnight camping for 10 dollars per vehicle, just send me a private message on here and will forward you the info.

Now... how to rig up a coffee maker on the yak????

 We will be at the gate when it opens Sunday morning. Later today we are headed out to pump shrimp and maybe do a quick crab pot soak. WhooooHoooooo.....sturgeon fishing time of the year!!! See you all at Mcnears. Sunday ......

Went and plucked some bait with Craigers, Tessa, my Pa, Patrick and Lindsay...to much FUN. Kayak loaded and ready to go...see you'll in the morning...Yahooooooo Sturgeon Fishing

The pics are so Ghostie I cant even find them(forgot the camera and my boots too) Keith's is supposed to have fresh grass, ghost and frozen mud shrimp at Loch Lomand. Frozen mud works well.

VERY LOW on Ghost shrimp but have some VERY LARGE Grass shrimp along with Lamprey eel and frozen Mud shrimp

Thanks for the 411 on the carpet Raynman! Except for a brief 2 hour window of wind & chop...... ......it was nice today. Got one shaker, which is my 1st dino, & a bullhead.
