Get the camo t13 from Eric and pick it up on Sunday at Tiki. Bring a rod and shotgun and you can blast and cast. That's a good price and the camo is really cool.

I figured the 15 would be tougher on the river.  And I have no issue paddling all day with a 13 on the ocean.  I actually enjoy the workout of paddling.  When I am in my float tube I am pretty much kicking all day long so the workout is one of the ways I have been losing weight.  So far I have dropped about 25 pounds and can not wait to see below 200 pounds again.  Just 15 more to go and I will fit into more clothes items that are correct for my height.  Being 5'9" and 215 I am right on the cusp of fitting into an XL wetsuit, but it is a little tight.  XXL's are to tall for me.

Now that the 13 looks like the better option, I can save a couple bucks and have my kayak sooner.  Sweet!!!

Thanks everyone, I hope to see you on the water real soon.  I fish a lot so you will be seeing me a lot, I'll be the guy fly fishing.  Headed to Davis tomorrow for big trout in shallow water.

Scott,
I just returned from fishing Davis, 3 times last week. Outstanding all day long. There are lots of fish in tight, very shallow, Parachute adams and Martis creek midges worked well. Also casting to shore and retrieving black buggers on an int. line worked well. Out in 13-15fow, an int. line with sheep creek specials/wooly worms and snails was the ticket. Some rising in the middle, but sporadic. Three of us averaged 15 per day, all feisty in the 17"-22" range, all at the shallow end of the lake.
Frenchman's was not as good, but we caught fish there too, just a little smaller.
If you can, go to the E. Carson. The flows were low, but fishable with lots of willing trout in the 12"-18" range, with 1 lost toad around 24".
Good Luck, Jim

Thanks for the info Jim.  Davis is one of my favorite places to fish.  I know that lake like the back of my hand, plus I have a buddy that lives there and another one that guides there.  You have to love those nice trout, even the little guys fight like monsters.  My go to out there is my black wiggle tail that has turned out to be the fly to go to at every place I fish.  I use an intermediate line and another rod with a floating line.  My favorite thing about Davis is stalking the trout on foot and throwing to fins and rises.

We fished Frenchman's 2 weeks ago and ran into some 19" trout with the hunters shooting over our heads.  Frenchman's south end should be real hot after this cold front goes through.  It should push them all south to the waterfalls which are not there due to the low lake.  I even fished Frenchman's when it has started to ice over, you just have to break through the ice.
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

No camo for me, it will either be sand or the sunrise color.  I still need to save a couple more bucks, I have seen the 13 for as low as $650 for a 2012 either used or demo'ed.  Just need to sell a few more RC heli's and airplanes, plus I am getting rid of most of my paintball gear.  I am or was a guy with way too many hobbies.  Now it is just fishing and guns.

Once again thanks everyone, you guys rock.  I look forward to fishing with all of you!!
So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

I approve of this message.

Do you approve if this?

Made in 1919 1911 Colt and a kind of matching Colt 25.  Just a few of my firearms.  I shoot everytning from flintlocks to the AR-15 that I just built.  I shoot the 1911 and the Colt 25 on a regular basis, no safe queens in my house!

So long and thanks for all the fish!!!

I have put thousands of rounds through it and has never failed or jammed once.  I got real lucky with this find 16 years ago.  If people knew how little I paid for it they would cry.  I shoot SASS and use it in our Wild Bunch matches.  It is my favorite of all my guns.

Get the 13 with a rudder installed. There is only 4 pounds difference between the 15 and the 13. So weight isnt really the issue here. Its manuverability. The 13 will provide you well on the salt. Solsrf1 just went 8 miles round trip in his 13 at SC. The rudder will help you with windcocking and keep you on track while being able to maintain even paddling.

Nice pistols!
