2010 Adventure Island new out of box $2600 SOLD

My local bike and kayak shop is getting out of the Hobie business and has one 2010 Adventure Islander left from a large boat order.  The boat with sail and outriggers was on the showroom floor so it is new, but out of the box, assembled.  Pristine unused condition. 

Its hibiscus color, red.

2010's had many improvements, the V2 mirage drive and the new drive lock in system, among other updates.

They are asking $2600.

I am speaking out of turn for Paul here in this next sentence, but I happen to know Paul has relatives he visits somewhat regularly in the bay area (Walnut Creek-ish area), and I think one of his vehicles could haul the kayak roof top.  So maybe he could be motivated to deliver?  I did not check with Paul on this potential delivery scheme, and apologize now for any problems it might cause.

Hey Kris, I didn't know North Rim carried Hobie.  I thought they just had white water stuff but I havent been in there for years.  I'll have to get back in there to see what they have.

Pretty sure, yes, the Adventure Island has the outriggers, sail, dagger board, large rudder, and turbo fins.  Please check with Paul to be absolutely positive.

I cant afford to get into an AI now, but I might swing by there tomorrow and drool over it.

Funny, I stopped by North Rim last Friday and started talking to the guy that supposedly had the AI in his garage.  He said he was hoping to take it out before they sold it.  I told him that the announcement had been posted on NCKA, and he better take it out within the next couple of days because it would be gone.  I hoped he listened me.
