DVR for the Radio ! 

D.A.R.  Digital Audio Recording... How many times has your buddy interupted you with his snoring on the ride home from a fishing trip and you missed the traffic report? Or you wanted to keep rocking out to ACDC?
 Wouldnt it be nice to hit the rewind ??
Or some sappy song from your childhood that makes you cry come on, and you dont want your wife to see....She'll start asking all kinds of questions to get intouch with your "feelings" and you just want to concentrate on how to attach the transducer in the new yak??  Wouldnt it be nice to Fast Forward??

If i'm not mistaken, Clarion has also been making digital recorder in-dash players, sort of capable of doing the same thing, for many many years.

I was driving to work the other day and missed somthing they said.... i was like wheres my DVR for the radio lol 

Hmmm...
most programming is now on pod-cast.  I can listen to Rush Limbaugh any time and fwd/rewind to my heart's desire.  I imagine most radio programs are now doing that.  Check the website of your favorite radio station and see if they have a smartphone app for the pod cast.  Link the phone to your car radio via USB or blue tooth, then enjoy!
