Well I got my C-3 tore down and discovered it's an older model without carbon fiber drag washers. So I called up the lady at Smoothdrag.com, that Alan Tani recommends, and ordered up a set for $9. Also got the Corrosion X coming too.

What I don't know is if everybody that owns the new Abu reels such as the Revo Toros, Toro Winches, etc know that although they do come with the carbon fiber drag washers they do not come greased but are instead dry. I had found out about greasing the CF drag washers when Alan Tani put some greased CF's in my TLD15 for me a few years ago. What a huge difference greasing the drag makes! Oh so smooth. If you think your stock Toro is smooth now......wait until you grease the drag with Cal's or the like. Highly recommended & easy to do.
