I have a leak in one of my Wheeleze tires. Can I put tire goo in it to fix or is there a better option. Thanks for any help.
So I'm packing my bags for the Misty Mountains, where the spirits go...........

According to the paperwork I got with mine; you can just smear the plastic over the leak with a heated knife.  I have had a slow leak since I don't know when, but can't seem to locate the hole.  It doesn't bubble under water but the tire deflates very slowly.

Here is a video on how to repair the Wheeleez tire using a soldering iron.

How long have you had your wheels? I've had my wheels for so long I wore out a set, then used that set as a parts rig to keep my other wheels rolling :smt044
I told a friend just yesterday that for me, wheels are as essential as a paddle when it comes to kayaking.

Since at least 2006.
I found a post from Oct of '06 where someone was waiting for a report from Travis and me on the Feather. I took a really cool pic of the difference in the sand between my Roleze and his "ploweze" on that trip.
I got them at North Shore Tahoe end of season for $129. Might have been in '05, but probably '06.

I got mine in preperation for Elk 1. Mine also have a slow leak that appears to be from the little piston in the stem.

I had a leak in one of my tires which I couldn't find for the life of me. Eventually found that when I left the valve cap off it didn't leak. Looked inside the valve cap and there was a little tab that stuck out just enough to push the pin in slightly, leaking air out of the valve through the cap. Put a new cap on and all is well.

I've had mine since 2006. Last year they started leaking slowly from the seam at the base of the valve stem.  Gobbed a bunch of Marine Goop around the seams and works fine again.

Great info guys! I think we've found the root cause for the slow leak --> the valve stem!

I googled and found the wheeleez repair guide from the manufacturer below:
