Glen & ChuckE,

Thanks for sharing your expertise.  For those of you that missed the clinic, it was great to see all the equipment choices at one time, and get some real advice on selection.  I haven't tried crabbing yet, but I can't wait till Nov. 3 for my 1st trip to Doran.
It was a nice touch to bring the live crabs and demonstrate handling and measurement.

Great Job!

Thanks,

Fishyhead

Is there a clinic scheduled for the South Bay ?

Antonio

I'd be willing to do one (maybe with chucke or someone else) perhaps at Mel Cottons....Joe/bloodbath. You think they'd be willing to host?

Sounds like fun, I'd be game for a south bay crabbing demo and can lend a hand if you need it.

totally you prob know way more then I do. Maybe a full crab demo....boat and yak.  I wish Mel's would do more events like this. We need more then just FW. Maybe we could do it there. I will talk to Eric K this weekend at Tiki

Thanks guys!!! Had a great time with seeing old friends and meeting new ones! Great to see all this excitement about crabbing!!! I kinda re-energized me again; kinda like when I first started.

For those of you that didn't get the "Dummies Guide to Crabbing" handout (thanks Bunny/Ghost), I'll post it up as soon as I convert the powerpoint presenation right after the Tiki event. Feel free to pm or email me if you have any questions; or if your at Tiki....

Don't forget, we'll have a hookup at Pillar Point Harbor/HMB on the crab opener weekend.

Thanks again to CCK, Outdoor Pro Shop and Chucke for setting the whole thing up!!!

And EWB, if I can get off early enough, I can come down if you still need a hand...
