So I checked out 2 kayak launches today (Sac River Barge off Jefferson & Howe Dr Access). Both sites seemed like they were not the greatest places to leave an unattended vehicle. Are there some safer locations to launch during the week? Some locations that have more traffic. Maybe it's just me, but they seemed to be prime theft locations.

Hahha. Hear you there bro.
Barge canal isn't that bad actually. I was there today, never had a problem.
Water was awesome.
Sunrise is a good safe place to launch. Only problem there are the jerkoff guides will treat you poorly if u r kayaking.
Harrington is a good launch spot, as well as Watt Avenue. Sailor Bar, upper Sunrise, discovery park, etc.
