Thanks J-Bo!

If memory serves me right; mine has only seen 2 thus far.  To many things keeping us busy to get on the water.  Hoping that changes soon :-)

Thanks for the post Wipeout!  I am currently rigging my Cuda, and have yet to install a ff.  Your ff mount looks like a solid option.

Thanks for posting Dan. You beat me to it.:smt003 I saw Len's video post yesterday and I thought it was top notch. I definitely liked his double anchor system. No more swinging in the wind soaking bait.
So far I haven't done much to my Cuda yet  except install a fishfinder.

Thanks Dan, I enjoyed that video - gives us ideas on how to mount multiple accessories or only those you'd like.

Here's something else I found yesterday; the Yak Attack GT90 Geartrack.  It's less than an inch wide so it will fit on our Cudas.  You can put either a 12" or 8" forward of the moulded paddle holder and a 4" to the rear of the moulded paddle holder.

I'm still thinking it through but at this point more inclined to mount the tracks vs individual mounting points.

Beat you to it. My Yak Attack order should be in this week. Those new tracks will work awesome on Jackson kayaks.

Nice :-)

What tracks did you choose?  8" or 12"?  Assume you're going forward of the paddle holder?

I got all the sized they make, and backer plates for them. You just need to come by and hang out for the day so we can drill holes in your yak.

I might just have to do that :-)

But first - remember that Native Wilderness track Shilo picked up - finally got around to modifying it.  Pounded out the curve, cut in half (ea. is 10"), angled the ends to match the other side.  Primed in this photo...just painted them with Rustoleum Hammer Black paint (drying).

I like the length and it sits nicely forward of the molded paddle holders.  There is only one thing keeping me from mounting them right now...I want as low a profile as possible.  So I'd like to find out the height of the GT90 tracks.  Given these narrow tracks have to account for screw/bolt heads inside the track, I would think the GT90 height would be equal or marginally less in height.  I'll have to order some - unless someone would be nice enough to measure them for me :-)

Another track to check out if you are looking for low profile will come from the woodworking world.  Check out Kreg and Rockler brand t-track.  Comes in anodized blue or aluminum in a variety of lengths or can be cut to length and is inexpensive!!!  Your track idea gave me the idea to mention this track.  Available at Rockler in Pleasant Hill or The Sawdust Shop in Santa Clara.
