Did a quick troll from the really nice launch ramp (though there are lots of spots you could launch for free it looks like). Headed across lake to resort and trolled kastmasters along the gravel shoreline across the finger from the resort. Got one nice little trout. Seemed fishy, but the wind kicked up and we retired, looping around the dam and back to the ramp. Guys at the ramp had a whole bunch of fish. Most if the boats seemed centered on the middle of the lake and the cement dam on the little finger of the lake. Beautiful up there. Huffin and puffin at 8k feet.

Good report.  Caples has been pretty slow this year, and was pretty low when I drove by on Friday.  Glad to see somebody got something.

Caples and Silver lake should start waking up, the trout should get on the bite to fatten up for the winter.
Fishing is cheaper than therapy!
