Late Saturday morning the Wife and I made the last minute decision to catch a Giants game. Went on the ticket site and grabbed some great seats then it was off to catch the ferry at Larkspur. The direct park tickets were sold out but the attendant said they haven't turned away anyone on standby so we purchased some round trip tickets and were off to AT&T Park. The ferry is always a bonus ride when going to the park.

Arrived at the stadium in time to be gifted a couple Pablo Gnomes...sweet. Once in our seats we ordered a bratwurst and dug in for the game. It was a beautiful night at the park with great fans all around  us. The highlight of the night (other than the win) was Pablo running to catch a foul fly ball while he blew a bubble with his wad of gum and  going over the rail while catching the ball......Sweet!!

The ferry ride back was a fun with all the excited fans retelling the game to anyone who would listen. Another Great Night Out...Go Giants !!!

Sounds Great but we need a better spot to launch than the one I have been using for years. Usually I park down the canal and have to drag (stealthily) through the park and launch under the house boat dock. The AI's would never fit under the draw bridge. A couple times I had to lay flat on the kayak and slide in under the bridge with a whisker to spare.

 Anyone have a safe/easier launch....with parking?

TI to mccovey is less than 3 miles. Your AI wd cover that in no time at all.  Tons free parking at TI

Right-on Allen - was watching on TV last night, the ballpark must have been rockin'.  Gotta love how the team came together and played down the stretch.

Did you get a bowl of soup with that hat?

Go A's!

We went today. It was a little bit of a letdown watching the rookies and afew players that werent exactly starters go for it.It was SF though in all her glory and temp changes from one mile to the next. We spent the night Sat night down at Villa Florence and cable car- ed-it all over the place. Went to Scomas for dinner last night. No TV in the bar, not a peep from anyone when they clinched. Unreal. One of SF's oldest restaurants down by the wharf and no one really interested there. I know you and Peggy had some fun last night Allen. Good call on going down. Go Giants!

My son gave me a call yesterday as I left the AR fish-n-chill to meet him at the game.  He's a broadcast engineer and got me into some cool places.

Here's a photo of covering the champagne celibration!!
