It was hard focusing at work this morning wishing I was there fishing with you guys. :smt011 No surprise there of Adam catching salmon in that area. :smt002 He should be a professional salmon guide. :smt003

Thanks Ricci and everyone else who made this an event to remember!  Today was a lucky day for me.  I was able to christen my new Cuda with its first fish, and got to bag my first river salmon of 2012!

I got my Chinook on a sardine wrapped Maglip (unweighted) near the J street bridge.

When I get a stable internet connection I will post the vid of the catch.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.  You guys are the BEST.  I cannot imagine how my day would have gone without all the help I got and the FOOD, enough for a small army.  A special thanks to Rob Knoles for getting me in touch with NCKA and inviting me along and to Ricci (FishWorks) for setting it up and encouraging me to be there. I am looking forward to seeing ya'll on the water again very soon (I am off this tues - wed - thur, hint hint).
It's a  well known fact that I just made up.

Sounds like a great time!  When one salmon is caught, the hope applies to everyone.  Nice job ATD!

Wish I could have made this one. Looks like u guys had a blast. Numbers in the system are still low apparently. Gonna go for a bike ride here in a minute to scout. Plenty of fish being caught, just not in numbers!

I had a great time!
Saw several salmon roll in water near my kayak and even saw a few in the water. I just didn't get one on the end of my line!
It was nice getting to meet the Sac Crew.
Thanks Ricci for putting on a great fish and chill.
