It's a nice day OTW at Howe.  Fishing is very slow only saw 3 Salmon caught this morning. One of them was caught by Adam/ATD and the other 2 were caught by the PBs.  Thank you Adam for donating the Salmon to the potluck and Ricci for putting this F&C together.  Also thanks Joe/Fishbucket for letting me use his kayak for the day.  The potluck was great as usual and I'm glad I don't have to clean any fish  :smt003  Here are some pictures I took today...

That looks like a quality get together. I'm itching to get out there but coaching my son's football team has me on lock down. Unfortunately, our team didn't do as well as you guys did today. I miss fishing on the American...

Thanks for sharing Sonny.  It's always the potluck afterward and the hanging out that make up for the missing fish :smt002

What a great day with the Sac Crew!!  It was nice to see everyone again and meet a few new faces.  I really love how the Sac scene is taking off and the new guys and gals are really a good bunch :)

Report:   I got there a few min after Adam at about 6:30 and unloaded the yak, rigged it to fish, then hung out for a while  :)  Eventually we all launched, with the first group heading upstream with Ricci and Erik and the rest heading downstream towards teh pump house and "J" Street.  I headed downstream.  On the way I picked up 2 nice spinners in the driftwood and trees.  As I came up on the deep hole upstream of "J" Street I heard Adam holler "fish on".  Punk! ;)  After a short fight and watching him try to dump his paddle and other stuff out of the cockpit, he got it netted and in his lap.   Beautiful fish, and if I remember correctly, it taped at 34".  Then it was about 3 more hours of trolling and casting for me and 15 or so other yakkers for NADA.  Funny thing is, as we all started filtering downstream, there were 4 PBers in the deep holes, but once all of us showed up, they all vamoosed... too much competition?
Then it was back up to the launch for some tasty tasty lunch NCKA STYLE!  Chryss even brought Henry down and he hung out with the crew for a while :)  Too bad he's still too small to have some of the food...but he might have something better right now anyway ;)

Cheers
Jim

After getting a super early start at 8am or so, I got skunked like the rest, except ATD. after the pot luck went out lure diving and between Adam and myself we got a box load. Mostly old, but a few nice ones too. All we need now is a good run to start so we can catch some fish.
