Howe ave access- watch out! Smash and grab

I went to Howe this morning at sunrise, fished for 2 hours and came back to find my car window smashed.


I had a bag of fishy smelling clothes and my fish finder stolen.  Not a huge loss, but I am seeing red

Time for the ghillie suite and pellet riffle.

 I parked on La Riviera yesterday morning... hoping they wouldnt get me.

 There should be security walking that whole river, It's getting terrable.

btdt, in sf.  busted my rear window and all they got was pair of googles, a backpack with ten yr old sunscreen and speedos with a serious skidmark in 'em lol.  Din't even bother with any of the cash or electronics - f'ing morons. 

sux how violated it makes you feel.  only way to prevent it is to avoid it, really.  can happen anywhere...

That place is a haven for lowlifes.  The tweakers sleep in the brush and party on the river all night.  I know, J and I were there latre late last night and there was a group of wasted and f-ed up people in the brush under the bridge talking smack as I paddled back in...

did you file a police report and let the county parks know?  as sad as it is, Howe is one of the most often patrolled places on the parkway.  Maybe if the county had more $$, they could re-hire a few wardens...?  2c
