Crabfest January 27, 2013 (Waiver page 1)

Is crabbing off a yak pretty cut and dry? Bait and drop pot with floater, come back take out, sort crab and redrop? This will be my first time crabbing off yak 

Its super simple. Vwool, does teach a clinic here at the store some time before the event.

It's that simple. But when you pull your pots you want to measure your crab right threre and then. You don't need to be caught with undersize crab.

If there is a halibut in the area, I am sure it will end up on your clip. I have extra crab pots you can use. Save some of those 100 halibut skeletons for bait.

How does one enter this fabled "Crabfest"?  I've never been to one before but have caught my limit of dungies (allegedly) there at Doran.  I got a campsite at the Miwok tent campground for Sat. & Sun.  Does one bring beer & buddies to a crabfest?

Buddies are good and beer is better! Registration is the day of the event. We will post up a roll call as thing get closer so we have a rough idea of what to expect. For now we are just reserving spots and fueling the stoke!

P.S. show up Saturday for some pre crabbing and surf play.

We (the Fam) will be there!!! Site 111.  Friday thru Sunday.  Can't wait!!!
