Need to mount the FF this weekend. I am using PatR RAM mount. Where are you guys running the cable thru the hull?

I don't have the AI, just the A.
I route mine under the hatch cover. No drilling and I pull the entire unit out after I'm done.
This way I can use the same FF and TD on my A and my R.  :smt003
Same way I did it on my P15 below.

Here's where the wire is on mine and I used a wine cork+goop to make sure that it's water tight.  I'm also using the Humminbird kayak transducer kit (recommended by MyAfroDZYak) and the battery is in a dry bag in the rear hatch.

I also run mineu under the hatch cover. I've done that on my hobie sport, revo, adventure and Ai.
