Alameda Rockwall this weekend 6/3?

Anyone interested in fishing the rockwall on Saturday 6/3? I finally got the green light to go.  Planning to launch around 6:00a.m.  Will have live bait for those who needs it.

Yep I am in for the RW Saturday and will gladly take some of your bait 

I would definately like to go and take some bait off your hands, I need directions from the east bat 580 area, also what is the best way to make bait there is it possible?

I'll be out there again this weekend!  Will try and get me some bait beforehand.

The best bet to make bait at the wall?  I'd say use mickfish's advise and take a left from the boat ramp on over to the tires (wave actuator?) and bust out the sabiki.

  I signed up for the last newb take-out-to the RW,only to wuss-out due to unfavorable conditions. Looks like winds will be down this wkend.May I sign-up as a newb that needs a little guidence and bait if possible? Adam

KJ,I live up 880 about 20min.North of Alameda in Pinole.Did you get your PM w/directions to Wall?We are coming from opposite direrctions.I haven't been replied to by the Crew that is going yet.I kind of invited myself so far.Getting to the launch sounds like the easy thing.Did you get a detailed map?

You will notice a road just to the left of the red pin that is the road you go down to get to the launch ramp. The launch ramp is just to the left of the track in the pic

No worries Adam hopefully the weather will cooperate and we will catch some fish. First time I fished there I caught my largest fish on a kayak, a 4 foot leopard shark. that was pretty fun

It sounds like we'll have more than a few people going.  I am planning on making bait at Martin Luther king Park around 5:oo or 5:30.  On the small bridge next to the fishing pier/dock.  Because I have a small aerator, I can only hold about 20-30 smelts in my bucket, otherwise they will all die on the way to the RW.  If anyone has an extra bucket or aerator and can meet me there at MLK park which is on the way to the RW.  We can have more bait for everyone.
