Very hard to beat the Honda 2kw.  It uses inverter technology that will spare the electronics inside the trailer.  I have experience in this.  1.5 years in a fifth wheel while we built our home.  After 2 months on an Onan 4kw (very loud) we had to replace the boards in the trailer because the power was not clean.   4-5 hours at 2kw on a gallon of gas!

I have a travel trailer and use the Honda eu2000. Love it! A little spendy but worth every penny. Just make sure it's the right size for your needs. If your going to be running the AC all the time it's a little undersized.

FYI,  it would NOT run the AC in the fifth wheel on mine.  Took 3.5k to run it.  We were mostly just hot or hung out at a bar.  That summer we topped out at 119.

I'm pretty sure you can use two together to get enough power to run your AC.

They are expensive but worth every penny as said above.  We needed ours day and night because our batteries sucked.  If you buy something cheaper, you may have to spend the money twice.

Instead of the pricier Honda inverter genny, I got one of these;

I have a Honda at work so could compare;
Honda is smaller and a little quieter but the Powerhouse has more power.  It will handle a larger load regardless of rating.  Also, for $540, it's a whole lot cheaper than the Honda.
If money isn't an issue, go with the Yamaha inverter genny.  It's lighter than the Honda, quieter too but even less power.  (Ratings are the same; 2000 watts but in real world, the Powerhouse, then Honda and lastly the Yamaha will handle larger loads.)

The Powerhouse runs my camper AC from ECO mode and one light on.  The Honda would only run it in FULL Power mode.  In ECO mode, the Honda would trip out. However, once the AC is started, the Honda also would run a light or two as well.  The Yamaha was the same only I'd have to turn off and leave off everything else to start AND run the AC.
