How not to provide customer service/Humboldt style

i had the same expierence at outdoor pro shop in oakland.me and a buddy walk in to the counter the guy standing there a chunky buzz cut prick goes what you want ab card or sturgeon.i was like wow i cant believe this guy.i dont know if we were asian or what but i dont go there.we just walk out and drove to big 5.so i tell everyone i know not to go there and to sp[read the word.they dont want my money thats fine.before that happeni went in and bought all the 3/4 white spro bucktail because the stripers were running so hard.there was about nine i took them all.but now i wont step foot in there.

Wow, I go there 3-4 times a month and have had great service every time. I know the guy you are talking about and he is a good guy. Sorry you had that experience. I am Asian so I don't think that was the reason. I have seen them take a lot of BS from customers so maybe he was having a bad day. BTW, the Asian guy who works there Glen is a wealth of info for saltwater stuff.

well a couple of people that i know said the same thing,i know customers can be a pain in the ass but all we did was walk up to the counter,didnt get too two words.i dont know the people there by name but the black guy and the other white guy with the curly hair was always cool.but it is what it is you dont want my money i wont bring it to you.im not rich i break my back for the few dollars that i have so if you dont want ill go spend it somewhere else.thats just the way i am.and when people ask me where to go to get tackle outdoor pro shop is not gonna be one of the places thatll ill send them to.the real sad part is they are 2min away from where i live
