That's just one reason why I hate rod leashes.
I can't believe his kayak didn't fill with water unless the hatch only covers a small sealed portion inside????
One thing is that was guy was very comfortble on his kayak and well versed on self rescue; granted the water was ideal.
Loved the camelback/pfd too.

I just watched it again and Becky told me to tone it down because my deep down gut laughing was obnoxious.
I didn't realize that the guy had 2 GoPros on his kayak.
I'd fish with that guy any day!

well, at least when he missed his gaff shot, he didn't hit his own foot, or when the hooks popped, they didn't hook him... that would have just put this whole debacle over the top.

That video should be required watching for all yak-fishers.  Self rescue, gear, pfd, getting it all on film....pretty much covers everything.
