I had a blast at GS7 as well, definitely going to make an effort to hit up as many events as I can this year.   I know when we spoke last year, I said I'd try to make last year's Albion event but I missed it.  I'm definitely going to make Albion this year Craig! See you there.
If you ain't first, you're last.

Sending the registration, waiver tomorrow with a clothing order after the hats are posted for a price.

I'll be there with a truck camper on my pick-up truck with a small trailer for my kayak.  If anyone is wanting company or help paying for a spot, PM me.  Otherwise, I'll take up the offer that no one will be turned away and see where I'm pointed.

I called the campground and left a message to see if there's a waiting list for cancellations.  Might get lucky and a non-yak cancellation will pop up.
Cheers!!!!

We are not going to do hats this year as the artwork would have to be redone with less colors. Too complicated for Amadeo. He's a busy guy.

I got a return call this morning from a nice young lady at Albion.  She added me to a standby list.  I'd recommend that, if you want power and water, to get on her list.  It's still early and there's lots of spots not being reserved for NCKA folk, so I think it's worth it.

I was able to reserve a spot with hook-ups at Schooner's Landing, which is just up the river.  Website is www.schoonersrvpark.com

I retired this year and treated myself to some 'comfort'.
Actually DW said she needed the potty and I needed the shower feature.  Ha!

It's a new house and all new 'stuff'.  We had a house fire a few years ago.  Total loss, so I got to start all over fresh.  Most garages are decades of accumulation.  Give me time....

Ha!!

FWIW, Schooners is a very nice quiet campground, and usually less windy... My wife likes it better than the main Albion one. I will be up there this weekend for the second year in a row. Sites 7,8,9 are where we stay and they are nice cuz there is a bathroom and a fish cleaning station and outside shower, and a place to put your yak in the river right there. Easy walk back to the main Albion camp.

 :smt006

Sincerely,

Jim

ps...but for the big group lovefest you can't beat the main Albion camp.  :smt003 :smt004
