I updated the waypoints based on my Garmin Bluechart. There are some wash rocks which extend about 3-500' south of the Bonita lighthouse so navigate around them.

Hi Guys are we still on for Sat,

It's a go. Time to sign up for the potluck.

Scott,
Right now, I'm thinking of bringing a medium sized tray of the ff:
1. Chicken Adobo
2. Fried Rice

Going Fishing?
Winds from the south, hook in
    the mouth.
Wind from the east, bite the least.
Wind from the north, further off.
Wind from the west, bite the
    best.

I am going to bring seared white sea bass and chicken sausages. It's going to be wet out there so bring a spongue and pump or a quart and gallon freezer bags to bail the hull out.

I will be getting there at 6:30AM and giving Sonny a crash course in sailing at around 7AM if any one else wants to attend.

Just saw this thread mentioned in the Muir post...Guys, I've launched here and it is EASY, both launching and parking (just steps away).  I was down there a couple of weeks ago and there were a few trailers parked, no doubt a few whalers launched there.  I've had my eye on this weekend to launch here because of the tides - good to know there will be lots of boats around!  I probably won't partake in all the festivities, but maybe I'll see you down there.  Steve, if you change your mind about launching in SF, keep in mind it's Rolex Big Boat Series weekend so you'll have a hard time getting near the yacht club.

Ever since I converted my A to an AI I had a dream of sailing it under the GG. For my 6 brothers and friends who joined me today, thank you so much. I couldn't have done it without you. It was a blast and was sorry to call the abort when we got to the potato patch but it was pretty gnar and I was having trouble keeping helm control with my AI turning to windward. Ray said I should reef my sail and I will try that next time. It was balls to the wind for sure and some fine sailing. Sonny you did great on your first trip. I hooked a 23" ling on the west approach to Kirby Cove and let it go because I don't eat fish from the bay and I brought WSB for lunch. The lunch was off the hook. Landed with kuya Danny and Pat at 2 PM. Life is good. Only got 3 pics before my camera died. Horseshoe is a cool launch but lots of boats.
