My name is Jonathan Ridley (screen name JRidley) and I am new to this forum and new to kayaking, angling, and freediving/spearfishing.  I have a 15 ft Malibu Kayak eXtreme and I am still outfitting it with some essentials to make ocean-going safer: GPS, spare paddle, fish finder, visipole (light + flag),  replacing some broken eyelets, installing bungees, figuring out how to anchor the kayak if diving from it, etc. I. Looking forward to learning more about this rewarding sport and getting to know some of the members here.
