Trying to do my first introduction
cobra fish-ndive new to me/used...going to try and get my first small fishinh trip in this saturday around the break water by the monterey coast guard pier na d the kep areas up towards p.g ...know almost nothing  about ocaen rules and rig set up,gear,etc...and doing a lot of reading and computer searches /talking to fish and game and asking question...here we go...i have been waiting years to start this kayak fishing and am already hooked without having cast a line....wish me luck and all tips are welcome..how my fish of all differne tlimits can I have on board...what to use...which areas to try for what...what kind of gear for sea bass and where to meet and learn from other members out there...

Welcome Craig, I was hooked like that when I first started fishing from a kayak. Having fished from a boat all my life, I don't think I could go back.I enjoy the kayak way more. And by the was it gets worse, I am more hooked now than when I first started!!!!  :smt044

HeY thanks for the welcome...I grew up fishing fresh water and lived on a lake as a boy...fished upsate N.Y lakes and canals last a 8 years back...then stopped...looking forward to learning the regs and methods and bringing some decent fish home for din din...help loose some middle age belly too maybe....thanks bro
