   There is an airport in Loreto.    Flights from LA - San Diego  daily.     Head up North about an hour towards Mulege,  Bay of Conception.      Or Southwards an hour towards Danzante Islands.

Airport in Loreto-- most of our fishing was done about 10-20 miles south of loreto.

That looks like a place your AAA card would be worthless. 
How much for a liter of Pemex????

Yup... AAA would be useless.  I bought the required Mexican car insurance online which cost me about $37, but I really doubt how much good it would do me if I really needed it.

As for gas prices, it came out to about $3.00 US Dollars or less per gallon for regular unleaded.

Maaaan! This is killing me. Go VOLVO!
