To quote Bill Murray.  I will be out of pocket for the next two months starting Sunday as I am off to Fort Lee, VA for two months of Warrant Officer Advance Course (WOAC) for the National Guard. Friday is trip to the Armory for a final Physical Fitness Test, and some paper work, before shipping out. This is the last thing I have needed to make Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW3), and then start the glide path to looking at retiring from the Guard.   I have no idea if I will get time off, but if I do I have done some electronic scouting and the MWR at Fort Lee, does have kayaks, and I have been in contact with some of kayak anglers out there.  So who knows you may get a NCKA East report while  I am out there.  I will be back October.  Who knows may have to hook up for Strippers and or chorme ones.  It will be about 40 days +/- till crab season.  I can't wait for that!

GF and I have a camping trip planned when I get back, may involve some mountain river fishing if there is still water flowing.  Be safe everyone!

I was stationed at Fort Lee after returning from Vietnam. I still remember having to do guard duty at the base entrance, after almost the entire MP company was busted for pot.  :smt005  Or having to patrol a fenced-in underground ammo dump in the rain, with a rifle with no ammo.  :smt013

"You know something soldier, I just noticed something...you're always last.  Why is that?"
"I'm pacing myself sir."

I must use that line at least once a week, great movie indeed.

Have fun, and tight lines!
