Never have caught a salmon from the yak and we have run out of freezer salmon. Hoping to hook up with someone this Sunday.

I'll definitely be out there on Saturday. If I don't catch anything, I might be stubborn and fish Sunday, too.

Where is the launch zone @ Lovers Point?

I usually use the ramp on the point side of the cove.

The larger of the two beaches.  The ramp goes down to the pier and then back to the beach.  Easy with a cart.  I just carry my kayak down the stairs.  If you are there around 6 you should see us on the beach.

Trying to find it on a map.  I cannot carry my yak down stairs so I have to rely on my kart.

Ever launch from the little beach by El Torito on Cannery Row?

I did on Sunday.  Very close but metered parking after nine.  I have a thing against paying for parking.  I'd rather paddle a little farther.

I agree about metered parking .... but it's the price we pay to fish sometimes.  How about the beach to the left of the CG pier?

Beach to the left of the CG is San Carlos - big paid parking lot. Haven't used it, myself.
