Glad you are ok Kirk. Also happy that there were a few guys around to help out.

I still think that the bilge pumps should have an extended hose connected to it.
This would make it more versatile if you were in compromised position.

Thanks for the tip on the drysuit.

Bass pro carries 24 in bilge pumps for 24 dollars, comes with hose. I didn't get it since it seemed a bit big, not sure what a good length is so as not to take up soo much room.

Thanks for sharing your hard learned lessons.  I used to use the silver rivets too, but have switched to the molly rivets because they don't pop out as easily.  I will definitely take your advice when looking to buy a dry suit.

I am glad it all worked out.
