chucke and i drove down sat/sun to loreto. first day was chucke landing a little dodo, fishing AIs off the beach. I can't recall what i caught.
Next day we did a mothership panga trip- 4 dodos, 3 in the mid 20's, both chuck and i got sharks, i lDr'd mine, chuck's stayed under the AI and circled. Also hooked and lost a marlin- got to get the rod loaded up, line zinging, and a beautiful tailwalk to spit the hook.
Yesterday we sailed to an island 6+ miles offshore, i got a dodo peanutish, chuck lost a couple i think.
Today was another beach launch ( a rest day). I played inshore with angry ladyfish, while chuck chased dorado.  Then it happened.  A very large school of very large jacks came to play. I landed 5, LDR'd two.  First hits were a double- i didn't do that again. Each one was 20 plus minutes of brutality. All were 20-30 # class (probably pushing 30). Chuck landed a dodo, had a double on Toros (jacks), and lost one probablle toro.
Another mothership day tomorrow and we're bak on the road...

Here's a brief teaser until I can get access to more pics.  Here's a look at Bob's place from his bedroom window.

Sweet. At Medanos Beach in Cabo, the locals fish for Toro with handlines from the beach. They eat them and say they taste like pollo.  :smt005 Hope it's not too hot there.
