Kayak Re-entry

Did some practice with Mary a week ago at the lake. Nice 75degree water to play in and practice getting back into the yaks with and cool off.

Good job - we should all be doing more of that.

Roll into the seat from your stomach.   No knees on the yak.   Knees face the sun.

I've practice re-entry before and mind u i don't know what I'm doing and have never taken lessons so.....when I did it, I actually reached under the kayak to grab the far handle and pulled it towards me while the same time lifting up the near side. The kayak flips right over. Do u guys follow me? It seamed easier.

I'm no pro either but that is the way that's always worked best for me as well. Especially in the surf zone where you want to get it done quick.

I do the same i think its just how u can do it easiest i tried both methods found pulling an lifting is easier
