I saw a few guys made it out in the salt in Jackson's Big Tuna.  I've been keeping an eye on it since I saw a prototype last summer.

So those of you that have gotten to use it, what do you think?

None of us actually got to paddled the Big Tuna. We just took the Jackson team fishing/catching.
Drew and Marty showed us around the Big Tuna and the Cuda. The Cuda looks sweet and handled the the Big Blue, no problem. Drew was crawling around that kayak adjusting his Go-pros and had not problems.
The Big Tuna at first glance looked like a tank but after compairing it to my Tarpon140, it's only about 8" wider and about the same length. Then again most tandems are built like tanks right? Once on the water, with Marty paddling and Sonia sitting shotgun(catching all the fish) and their dog hanging out in the middle, it looked solid and super stable. It also handled the chop with no problem.  The raised seats didn't seam to be a problem either plus they were staying dry.
I wish I could have paddled the Big Tuna but it was just sweet to help out first timers catch fish and enjoy our coast. At least I hope to be getting a Cuda soon :smt003 and maybe a Cossa for catching steel this winter :smt004

Victor and I use it at The ARW tourney a few weeks ago. Had the bait tank drilled and it kept the bait fresh all day. We had over 500lbs in it with no stability issues. Also we rigged ours with dual FF's which was pretty bad ass.

I also paddled it once as a Solo and was happy with how it handled.

Come try it! I have a couple in the demo fleet for people to try.

You should come hit the Mokelumne with us this winter. You can borrow a shop Coosa if you don't have yours yet.
