Shelter Cove Charter Review

My uncle drove all the way up there to fish shelter cove there was bad weather so they said they wouldnt be goin out till thursday he spent 4 days up there this week an along came thursday he goes to get out an finally fish an they said well we didnt book anyone an i got plans seeya. So you might wanna make sure u have a boat going out before u make the hall to try an fish up there just a heads up. They lost a cutomer for sure by doing that a good one to. hes the kinda guy who if he has fun hell make a 2 or 3 weekend trips to fish an area a month.

If they knew they had "plans" then they should have told him instead of giving him false advise wasting 4 days of his vaction time an money on a room at tides inn when he could have gone back home or fished other charters in our area.

I too would like to know which charter it was. I was going to try and take the wife next year, and don't want to go with or have anything to do with an outfit like that!

Ill try an get more details when he gets back to town hes fishing with a local charter today an tomorrow.

Not trying to defend what sounds like a flaky move here, but Shelter Cove's unique locale and remote nature can easily lead to disappointment - just as it can produce a once in a lifetime event on the water...

Gimme Shelter Sixth Annual has purchased certificates for $150 half-day charters from both Shelter Cove Sportfishing and Outcast Sportfishing which will be part of the raffle at Albion.  Hopefully the recipients of those certificates will get a chance to experience the good side of what can happen up here.

Get your uncle to GS7 and I'll make sure he receives Guest of Honor treatment and some free schwag.   

Tried talkin him into gs6 ill keep trying for gs7 but i dont kno if hell even wanna make the drive again u kno ill try tho. He cant stand the fact i caught a halibut an he hasnt yet lol.
