One of the many things I love about kayak fishing tournaments is as a fly fisherman I can compete against you conventional guys. Those same folks that say no trolling also say no fly rods. They'll soon be enough bass fishing yakers  for us to do a tournament.

Hmm....

Why would bass anglers be against fly rods?  It not like you gain an advantage using a fly rod.

Weird.  I've not heard of this.

Add another bit of psychosi to the tournament bass anglers.

Somebody hasn't seriously fly fished for bass. or is this a challege?

Why Do I paddle a kayak instead of a float tube or a pontoon boat? I like seeing where I'm going not where I've been!
Paddle safe and wrap'em tight.

I've got bass on the fly.  I would highly doubt that a strict fly fisherman could out fish a guy with both spinning and casting gear.....

So, yeah, I guess it is a challenge.  :)

I guess I am unaware about how a fly fisherman works depths over 10 feet, and this is why I have a hard time thinking a fly fisherman could outfish a guy that can easily work 20 foot depths.
